To maintain Woodlands’ exceptional educational resources, we must carefully plan for the future. An endowment fund which underwrites key expenditures for people and programs is one measure of long-range financial stability. Our endowment must keep pace as our academic enterprise grows, and we have made this a priority in our advancement program.
General endowment gifts will help maintain competitive faculty salaries and financial aid. Technology continues to add fixed expenses to Woodlands’ operating budget. Our goal therefore is to raise endowment funds necessary to maintain these essential components.
To compete successfully, we must be able to attract the best teachers with competitive salaries and benefit packages. By earmarking contributions to endowment and by making continued provisions for annual giving, Woodlands Academy supporters can demonstrate their belief in the importance of fine teaching and maintain a corps of extraordinary teachers in Lake Forest.
Woodlands seeks endowment gifts to buttress our financial aid program, which is both need and merit-based. Curious students need educational opportunities commensurate with their intellectual capabilities. Woodlands Academy is a college preparatory institution and many students depend upon financial support to help them attain a Woodlands education.
Woodlands Academy students continue to represent an increasingly greater ethnic, racial, geographic, and religious diversity. A common bond of educational purpose bridges these differences at every level.
By contributing to Woodlands Academy’s endowment and by continuing to support the Annual Fund, Woodlands Academy’s friends can make dreams a reality. We invite members of the community to play major roles in our campaign and to demonstrate their belief in Woodlands Academy’s future. Your participation will insure that the educational resources of Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart will be available to the entire community for generations to come.
