A Shadow Day is an opportunity for seventh and eighth graders to spend a school day with one of our current students, to participate in a classroom discussion, an all-school liturgy, or possibly a Wildcat spirit competition. This event is a great time for you to meet with our outstanding faculty, administrators, and students, who will show you all that Woodlands Academy has to offer.
Our primary goal at Woodlands is superior education for each and every one of our 200 girls. We achieve that goal by providing a challenging learning environment and superb teaching. Our classes encourage the sharing of ideas between the teacher and the student, as well as among the students themselves. We celebrate the diversity and backgrounds of all students and faculty. We strongly believe that education in the classroom is greatly improved by your experiences on the playing field, throughout club meetings, during community service projects, and inside the Residence Life Program.
We hope you will consider Woodlands Academy as you make a decision about the best high school placement for you. Please contact the Office of Admission and Financial Aid if you would like to schedule a Shadow Day visit at 847-234-4300 extension 218.
